Through numbers and data, I’ll show SIJE’s apparel future—through data.
Digital Transformation of Fashion Manufacturing : Recap from the 2025 MOTIE Seminar
Digital Transformation of Fashion Manufacturing

On July 17, 2025, a seminar titled
“The Future of Fashion Manufacturing: AI and Digital Innovation”
was held at the Textile Center in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

This official event was co-hosted
by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and
the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI),
bringing together key players
in the fashion and apparel industry
to explore how digital transformation and AI are shaping the future of manufacturing.

Digital Transformation of Fashion Manufacturing

We were honored to be one of the presenting companies at the seminar.

Nearly 200 participants joined us onsite, and the energy in the room was high.
It was clear that many were deeply interested
in how digital innovation is reshaping the fashion and apparel industry.

A New Standard for Apparel Manufacturing

Digital Transformation of Fashion Manufacturing

At our session, we introduced a real-world implementation of
a sewing factory system powered by digital twin technology.

We explained how we collect real-time data from the production floor,
automatically calculate productivity and cost using that data,
and integrate the entire production process into one seamless digital flow.

These were the questions we asked:

  • What if every movement on the sewing floor could be monitored in real-time?
  • What if AI could calculate production volume and cost automatically?
  • What if sourcing to shipping was fully connected in one system?

At SIJE, we’re building the technology that answers those questions.
Our system is no longer just about sensors or measurements—
It’s a digital factory that can read, connect, and predict the entire production flow.

3 Things We’ve Eliminated With Data

At SIJE, we often talk about the three things we’ve removed using data.

Managerial Guesswork

Previously, people had to make judgment calls.
Now, AI analyzes the data and the human only needs to review and decide.

Repetitive Inputs

Information that once required multiple entries
can now flow automatically with a single context-aware input.

Scattered Files

Information that was once buried across various documents and templates
is now unified and managed in one place.

What’s Next?

Our mission at SIJE is clear:
To transform the fragmented, low-margin apparel supply chain into a future-proof core industry.

In the coming posts, we’ll dive deeper into:

  • How we built and deployed IoT infrastructure in real factories
  • How our data architecture withstands unstable factory networks
  • How AI interprets production flow and drives smarter decisions

Stay tuned—we have much more to share.
